ABOUT KLARNA

We appreciate your decision to shop with Klarna.

Between you and us, there is a credit agreement in place. In this document, references to "us," "we," or "our" refer to Klarna Bank AB UK Branch. In this document, "you" refers to anyone who has used Klarna's Pay Later in 30 days ("Pay Later") feature to make a purchase.

1. WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO USE PAY LATER

To use Pay Later, you must live in the UK, be at least 18 years old, and have a working credit card. When we refer to a "valid payment card," we mean that it must be in your name and not be past its expiration date. Additionally, you should confirm that the card you use has sufficient funds available to cover your purchase.

A credit product is called Pay Later. Whether or not we begin a credit agreement with you is up to us.

2. HOW DO I PAY LATER?

With Pay Later, you can make a purchase and pay for it up to 30 days after placing your order, receiving your order's shipping, or receiving the service you ordered. With instructions on how to pay us directly, we will send you a payment reminder. You can use the Klarna App to make an early payment by paying with a credit card right away if you want to pay off your balance before the 30-day grace period expires.

3. WHICH CARDS DOES KLARNA ACCEPT WHEN IT COMES TO PAYMENT?

All cards except prepaid cards are accepted by Klarna. If your card has not been accepted, we will inform you at the time of checkout.

4. WHAT IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG?

Consumers can take advantage of Klarna's Buyer Protection, which includes things like deferring payment on ordered goods until you receive them and customer support for issues arising from your purchase.

Please visit https://www.klarna.com/uk/buyer-protection-description/ for more details and instructions.

5. IF I CANCEL MY PURCHASE, WHAT HAPPENS?

If you return an item, we'll return any payments you've already made. You will only be responsible for paying for the items you want to keep if you decide to return a portion of your order.

6. IF I DO NOT PAY FOR MY PURCHASE, WHAT HAPPENS?

It is crucial that you finish paying for your purchase by the communicated due date. You will be in default and might not be able to use Klarna's services in the future if you don't make your payments on time. If you fail to pay for your purchase, Klarna may hire a third party debt collection agency to make the collection effort on our behalf.

7. USING KLARNA: WILL IT AFFECT MY CREDIT SCORE?

No. A limited credit search at a credit reference agency may be conducted on you by us. This "soft credit check" won't have an impact on your credit report or your ability to obtain credit in the future. No one else will be able to see it on their credit report, only you.

We will provide credit reference agencies with information about your payments as well as any payments you miss by a certain deadline. If you don't make your payments on time, Klarna and other lenders may be less likely to grant you credit in the future. In Klarna's Privacy Notice, more details about reporting to credit reference agencies are provided.

8. HOW DOES KLARNA USE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Your personal information is used to identify you and for customer analysis, credit evaluation, credit reporting to credit reference agencies, marketing, and company growth. Additionally, we might disclose your information to some non-UK partners (like credit reference bureaus).

For more information about your rights, how to contact us, or to file a complaint, please see our privacy notice here. Utilising Klarna's services signifies your understanding of this notice.

9. HOW DO I FILE A COMPLAINT

You can contact us by calling (+44) 0808 189 3333 or using the live chat feature on our customer service webpage to file a complaint. We make an effort to respond to all complaints as quickly and efficiently as we can.

You can speak with the complaints arbitrator at Klarna if you're not satisfied with our response. Utilise the form that is provided with your final response.

Our complete complaints information is available here.

10. RIGHTS TRANSFER

This is a credit agreement between you and us. Without first obtaining our consent, you are not permitted to assign your rights or obligations to anyone else.

Any rights and obligations you have under these terms may be transferred at any time by us. Unless the transfer would jeopardise your rights and obligations, we don't need your permission to do this. This indicates that we are free to switch the credit provider without consulting you.
